Hamsters

So for all of you that don't know last year for Christmas I got 2 Hamsters names Siggy and Zoey. Well after about 6 months Siggy passed away :( and Zoey was left alone. I had been trying to get Zoey a new friend ever since Siggy passes but I couldn't find anywhere near us that sold dwarf hamsters.

Well last Friday I went to the petstore after work and they had dwarf hamsters. So I bought one I named Suzy. We put the 2 hamsters togehter in the cage and then found out hamsters are very aggressive. So I took Suzy out adn put her in the bottom drawer of my little dresser in the living room with some bedding, food and water.

I tried to take her back to the pet store because she didn't get along with Zoey and the store wouldn't take her back because of the bites she got while fighting with Zoey. I kept her in the drawer for a few more days until last night Thursday October 2 I looked in the cage to water her and she wasn't moving. I kinda shook the cage and she looked up at me very frustrated that I woke her. I continued to water her and notice her bedding was moving. Well to my suprise when I got her from the store she was pregnant.
So now I have 2 hamsters that don't get along 1cage and 8 babies!
If anyone wants one or knows someone that wants one please let me know!

End of summer 2008

Ok so its been a long while since I posted last here is whats up! So I have been looking for a job for like ever and I kept getting interviews but apparently I am qualified for nothing. SO I got a job interview at Safeway and a bit into the interviewing and hiring process I got an e-mail from my old boss Ruthie at Engineering Outreach and they asked if I wanted to come back. I jumped at this opportunity to be back at my old job that I loved so I did all the applications and things I needed to do so I am now working for the EO this fall. =D
I am still living in the little apartment in the ally and still love living here. Triniti moved back home for a little while to be with family and to get things in her life figured out and the day after she got back to Montana she broke her leg in 3 places in a motorcycle accident. :( She decided to stay in Montana this semester but we have high hopes she will be back in spring!
In other news I just got back from a wonderful vacation in Tahoe! We had a really great time. We headed to Boise on Saturday the 16th and stayed in Boise that night. It was really fun because we got to float the Boise river that day. It was so warm and relaxing to float. Then on the 17th we headed to Tahoe picking up Riley and Katie on the way. Jeff's mom rented condos for us to stay in for a week so the 18 of us just hung out all week. (I will post pictures later) The second day there we went to the beach and while at the beach we started to dig a giant hole. Then Jeff told us of his plan to propose to his girlfriend Alisha! He got in the hole and told her she should come see what he uncovered and then from the hole he pulled out the beautiful ring and proposed it was very sweet! The rest of the week was filled with hanging out with good friends, eating wonderful food, sitting on the beach and talking with frienda we don't get to see that often. On our way back we had a little bit of an interesting drive. We dropped Riley and Katie off in Boise. Well I will update later with pictures from our trip :) BYE!

Last Day

So today was my last day at Sangria and I know I quit for a reason but I am really going to miss that place or well more the people from that place. I had a bunch of people tell me not to quit and that I was going to be missed but I am content with my decision for the time being.

Stress!

So today I am really kind of stressed out there is so much going on that its starting to get to me. My first problem is today is May 1st and it is the day that is suppose to be my last at Sangria well they apparently didn't get the memo because I am scheduled tomorrow and Saturday as well doubles both days I found someone who wanted my Friday shifts but there isn't anyone not working on Saturday to take over my shifts. I had things planned for Saturday and now I'm worried if I don't show up they will be pissed at me. My number two problem is I went to pay my cell phone bill and apparently I had something come automatically out of my account that shouldn't have and it over drew my account which is upsetting because I haven't overdrawn my account in a long time. So now I'm thinking it might be a good thing for me to work on Saturday but I had other things planned which makes me sad that if I work I can't do them. So then I have my third stress My house is a mess! and we have a party here next sat and tons of people coming into town on Thursday and maybe I am just making mountains out of mole hills but its really starting to bug me I don't feel in control of the situation at all!

Tattoos!

So recently I have been thinking about getting another tattoo this would be my third one and this time I am thinking I am going to get it some where that is a little more visible I think I am going to get it on my wrist! I am really excited about it and the color I am going to get it is white so its not too visible. I am worried because my brother just got 2 tattoos and they were widely unpopular with everyone I know except for himself and it worries me that mine will be not really well received but mine is going to be a lot more subtle I have heard that white in doesn't show up very well so I am going to post a few pics so I can get an idea of if anyone thinks its a good idea. These are two pictures close to what i want to get except I want to get the word Serenity so feel free to tell me what you think!

It's a small world after all!

Its weird to me how freaking small this world is. I am constantly surprised when I find out that one of my friends knows someone I know. For instance last yeah when I was working at the Forest Nursery my boss was Don and one of the guys I worked with was Grant well I found out the other day that Grant's little sister is dating a guy I work with and that Grant is also friends with a guy named Noah who I have met and Noah is really good friends with Robert whom also works at Sangria with me and Robert is really good friends with my old boss Don its really freaking creepy!

Update

So since last time I posted a few things have happened. I will start with the sad and move to the happy. First off my grandmother passed away the Saturday after my last post and that was very sad it was during my spring break so I got to see her before she passed away. We had her funeral and I was one of the speakers. It was honestly one of the hardest tings I have ever had to do. My grandma is now at her final resting place in the Declo Cemetery right behind her house and next to my uncle Dennis.

Sadness!

SO this is whats going on right now my mom called me the other day and told me my Grandma Adrienne has liver cancer and isn't suppose to live much longer this freaks me out because my other grandmother Cindy died July 4th 2004 and now I have another grandmother passing away. The thing that pisses me off is my mother had cancer for a very long time before they diagnosed her and so did my other grandmother and my uncle Dennis and the hospitals down where I live are just STUPID its annoying.

Last year!!! (part 2)

So anyways we moved into our apartment with Megan and the landlords from hell. It was time to start my job search again. While eating dinner at Sangria my RA from the previous semester was working there and she told me that they were hiring so the next day I went in and applied and got the job. For a while I worked two jobs one at the Engineering outreach as a control room operator (left)and 2 at Sangria as a hostess/busser (right). Thats a going away party picture not our regular work attire.

Time went on and we celebrated Halloween!!!!




And Thanksgiving on our drive home I saw a helicopter picking up water to put the fires out in the mountains.



Christmas came and the End of my year!!

The Last Year!! (part 1)

So I am going to catch every one up on the last year.



So starting in January of 2007 I came back to Moscow to go back to school at the University of Idaho. when I came back I moved into Gault again which were the dorms I lived in the year before. I had my own room and just shared with a couple other girls Andrea, Jonna and Megan!



The school year finished and I had to move out of the dorms Megan, Nate and I had signed a lease to move into an apartment in June but we had to be out of the dorms in May so I moved into my bosses trailer for a while This was the coolest trailer it was vintage 70's including orange shag carpet and all.


I got a job at the university of Idaho Forest Science Nursery planting seeds and transplanting trees. It was hard work but alot of fun. I met some really great friends there and we hung out a lot. They talked me into going back packing with them at seven devils in Hells Canyon. I went and it turned out to be and insain hike. there was still snow in some places so we had to make our own paths and some of it was mildly treacherious. It was very beautiful we camped near the lake shown below which there was snow all around we carried everything in with us and stayed for a couple of days.









After that adventure we came back to Moscow and it was time to move again into our apartment with Megan on Jefferson Street.
