Chars New home pt2
Finally here is the picture of his new home all moved in. We still have a bit of work to do and we need a few more things to put in it but he is happy now to have plenty of space.

Chars New Home
I've have had Char for 3 months now and he is starting to be a big boy. He is now a foot and a few inches long. This presented a problem because when I first got him he was so tiny that the 10 gallon tank I had him in was fine but as he has been growing its too small. He started to escape. Mainly just to the top of the cage where he would hang out or he would run across the living room to me when I was out there but he decided one day to escape when nobody was home. It took 2 days and a lot of searching but finally found him under my crocheting bag. Decided he needed a new home because he had outgrown his.

Went out and bought sheets of glass, caulk, screen, framing and all other sorts of things and made him a new home.
This is the glass after we cut it and taped it together to hold it till the caulk had dried.

Gardening
So I have been trying to do this post for a while now but for some reason I couldn't get the pictures to work so here goes. Out at the Blevins house they have their gardens planted and they offered to let me have a little plot of land to have my own little garden.
So here it is the little plot in the back with the mail box is mine before it was planted.
When I first got to it there were TONS of weeds so after a long days work I pulled them all. This is said pile of weeds :P
The next weekend I planted a few things. We went to the Moscow farmers market and bought tomatoes and cucumbers, basil, and squash so here is my little garden planted. There are very pretty sunflowers growing behind it.

And my fantastic sunburn. I had sunscreen on but not well enough. You can see my hand prints from where I was trying to get my neck.
On the way home I took a few pictures of the drive from Deary to Moscow. Here is the Deary library.
And this is a Canola field. I think they are so pretty.
This is the flower up close. They are used to make canola oil if you hadn't already guessed :P
